Release Notes actix Analyzer 2021

This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for
most technologies that Analyzer supports, with changes falling under the following
categories:

• Resolved a problem where FalconSmart files failed to load where SIP/SDP messages contained IPv6 PCAP signaling.

Keysight Nemo support
• Support has been added for encrypted NMFS format with Nemo Outdoor 8.5 and Nemo Handy 3.9 (ff 2.39, ff 2.40. ff 2.41).
• Stream name is now set from the #DN Device Name field in the file header.
• Resolved a problem where PCI values were being set too late in a handover event. PCI and EARFCN are now being set at the RRC Reconfiguration Complete message.

• Initial support for 5GNR UEs has been added, adding the following decode improvements:
o Note: Scanner measurements from FR1 and NR-RRC signaling are supported with the Analyzer LTE-Advanced-Pro platform license. Support for FR2 and UE measurements is only available with the Analyzer 5GNR platform license.
o RRC Signaling (RRCSM) message, setting attribute NR_RRC_MsgType and all currently supported 3GPP RRC information elements, setting LTE_RRCReconfig_to5GNSA_Init / OK events.

Rohde & Schwarz ROMES4 RSCMD support
• Improvements have been made in the decoding of FIVEG_SCAN_RESULT to the scanned RSRP values.
• Resolved a problem where SQC and unzipped RSCMD files from within the SQC containers, collected in ROMES4 v19.2, caused Analyzer to crash during file load.

Rohde & Schwarz QualiPoc/Smart Benchmarker MF support
• Added support for NR_UE_RACH_Attempt_Reason from the Reason field in the NG5G PRACH message.

Solutelia WINd Pro support
• Floorplan images stored in the _indoor.zip sidefile generated by WINd Pro are automatically extracted during the file load process, and displayed as a map layer during the Analyzer session. Floorplan JPEG raster and TAB files are extracted to C:\ProgramData\Actix\Analyzer\Floorplans\Temporary
• Support has been added for setting Latitude / Longitude from the Indoor Map Position marker when no GPS is logged.
• Support has been added for the additional subframe version number of the Enhanced TopN Scan Message.

Verizon DataPro support
• Added support for PCTel HBflex scanner data collected with the DataPro tool.

Event Detection Improvements
• Attribute LTE_Uu_RRC_PLMN_Info_upperLayerIndication (from SIB2) has been added to show that the UE has 5G service (prior to NR MAC layer setup).
• Resolved a problem with the detection of GSM and UMTS. GSM/GPRS messages will not be decoded following UMTS BCCH message, or RR Paging message if the previous L3 message is an LTE paging and then the UE camps on UMTS via the “WCDMA Active Set” message.
• Support added for network directed LTE Reselection:
o LTE_Event_RedirectedReselection_fromUMTS_Duration (including successful and failed CSFB procedure). This is in addition to the existing LTE_CSFB_LTE_ReselectionTime (triggers only when the call resumes on UMTS following a successful CSFB procedure).
o Improved detection of LTE_Event_CSFB_LTEReselectionInit and LTE_Event_CSFB_LTEReselectionOK events.
• Improvements have been made to the detection of LTE-5GNR (NSA) mode in Technology_Mode:
